We wanted to let you know what we’re doing in response to the Coronavirus outbreak to protect our staff, partners and customers.
We’re following the advice from the government, World Health Organisation, NHS and Health and Safety Executive to make sure our colleagues, partners and customers stay safe, and we have put in place all the necessary measures to ensure this advice is followed by everyone.
We have carried out Covid-19 Risk Assessments for all aspects of our business and are regularly communicating to all colleagues and drivers to offer information and advice.
During these uncertain times, we are doing all we can to maintain our usual standards. We are listening to information as it is released and making decisions quickly. To make sure we can always deliver, we have made changes to the way we work, in line with the rest of the supply chain, and indeed the rest of the country.
All our operational and support staff are working from home and we have issued guidance to drivers on the universal precautions they should practice to prevent illness. A full comprehensive reporting process has been communicated should any driver become ill, this will enable us to notify sites they have visited, as part of the containment process.
We understand this is a challenging time and we’ve put our robust business continuity plans into action so we can make sure we can still supply first-class services to all our customers across the end-to-end supply chain.
We continue to have a team of drivers ready to collect, with additional cleaning requirements in place. We never co-load and we deliver straight to the end destination, your goods will arrive safe, secure and on time.
